Assistant Professor, Writing and Rhetoric

The Program for Writing and Rhetoric (PWR) at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a beginning or advanced tenure-track Assistant Professor of Writing and Rhetoric to begin August 2015.  A specialty is desired in one or more of the following areas: translanguaging, digital literacy, public rhetoric, eco-composition and sustainable cultures, writing across the curriculum and writing in the disciplines, or professional and technical communication.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to teaching and research excellence as well as a strong interest in dynamic writing program administration and program-building. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in hand by August 2015.

The PWR is an independent unit, reporting directly to the College of Arts and Sciences and serving the entire campus.  It hosts a campus writing center, contributes to residential academic programs, and cultivates community outreach, diversity, and sustainability.
