Major in MCD Biology 2013-2014

The MCD Biology department reserves the right to change major requirements at any time. Please check with the MCD Biology department or the CU Boulder catalog for the most current listing of requirements. You are subject to the requirements in effect at the time you declare your major as an Arts & Sciences degree seeking student.

In addition to the requirements for the MCD biology major, students must complete the general requirements of the College of Arts & Sciences. A minimum of 30 semester hours in MCDB, including 19 hours of specified courses and a minimum of 11 hours of upper-division electives. Complete additional courses in chemistry, math, and physics, as specified below. Maintain an overall grade point average of at least 2.00 (C). You must earn at least a C- in every biology course that will count toward graduation.

Courses required for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in MCD Biology at CU-Boulder and Colorado Community College applicable courses.
