Arts and Sciences Financial Service Center
Financial and payroll administration responsibilities are centralized within the College of Arts & Sciences in the Financial Service Center (FSC). The FSC is staffed with specialists who assist with the interpretation and implementation of state and university financial policy. FSC Accounting Technicians work closely with academic departments and programs to administer the policies and practices associated with campus financial operations. Areas of FSC responsibility include:
- Expense and travel reimbursements for employees/non-employees
- Procurement requests (purchase orders, payment vouchers and authorizations) as appropriate
- Acard administration-expense allocation, report creation, and approving official duties
- Student payroll processing-undergraduate bi-weekly and graduate appointments
- Ad hoc financial service support: perform manual journal entries, cash transfers, cash deposits
- Resource for navigating financial systems and interpreting policies
